I'm a OTR TRUCK DRIVER and today 9/14/22 is my 1st time in NEW ORLEANS . Parked down the road I decided to try Westwego Wings! All this food was for $22. Affordable food, great taste

I was pleasantly surprised by Westwego Wings. I wasn't sure what to expect but their fried chicken is really good. The glazed wings are nothing to write home about but the fried chicken is seasoned well and tasty. I didn't expect the Chinese portion of their menu but I ordered the fried rice and it was good, too. Nothing exceptional but the portion was huge for the price.

Awesome food, we had 20 pieces boneless white chicken meat.. Tender and Hot... $20 with drinks... Had a lot of food left over with 2 of us eating off of it...

Don't be fooled when you walk into this establishment...I was less than impressed, initially. I saw a lady waiting in the corner by the door and asked her specifically... had she ever eaten here before??? The guy behind the counter and she chimed in at the same time that she, she was a regular.... Hmmm. I asked her for a recommendation and she told about the glazed spicy garlic wings. The owner?? He had black framed glasses, was very personable. He explained what the menu was, what they were known for, what a lot of people ordered..shrimp fried rice and the egg rolls, the "SPECIAL" and the famous "WEGO" sauce!!!! Of course a business owner is always gonna oversell the business. Bae Beeeee!!! People, I told him if this is good as you say!!!!!!!!!!! I will be back tomorrow. Well, I ate here three times in a week, waiting to smack somebody's Mama. I will tell you on my second visit, I was promoting the sauces from inside while waiting for my order to come up. People!!! This is not a hidden gem, but a BLOOD DIAMOND!!! Westwego Wings, I want a little extra shrimp fried rice when I come back....cause I'm coming. CAPP!!! Patronize until ya overdraft ya account!!! For Real.

The whole wing plate with fried rice and salad was good. The fried rice had shrimp. The salad was a house salad with tomato's and red onions, nothing fancy but filling enough to go with the chicken wings. Wings were decently sized, not sure about other reviews on "tiny wings." I was able to make 2 meals out of my plate.

Love em. I’ve been coming every week since I found out from my friend about this place. Great customer service and friendly and of course the food but yea I’m hooked on the C-1, sometimes I get 2 or 3 at a time.
